Working in the #Salesforce #ecosystem means attending events: community group meetings, training events, and conferences. Although I have a few people in my network who are attending #Dreamforce2021 in person, I’ll be attending online. (I’m fine with that – travelling with crutches does not appeal to me at all!) And once again, there is a lot to see and only a little time to take it all in. So I started with the same strategy I used earlier with #TrailheadDX – but this was much easier due to the nature of the event (at least at this point in time):
- Identified my two main priorities. I’m still focused on community this time around, but because I’ve already earned my administrator certification I can explore topics more related to acting as an admin, not just getting past the first hurdle.
- Made my big list. It’s a shorter list as there seem to be less breakouts, but a few sessions do overlap. I’ll keep an eye on things to see if more is added as we get closer to the event.
- Added sessions to my calendar. I’m juggling a few more commitments in September so I had to make sure the sessions fit. If they don’t, or if things change as we get closer to the date, I’ll prioritize and adapt, right?
So right now I have a handful of sessions in my calendar and a reminder to check the list again in mid-September. At least it’s one thing off today’s to-do list!
